Practical Approaches to Behaviour Management
Promoting effective teaching and learning is central to the
Government's education agenda. This professional development
package aims to ensure teachers have the necessary skills to:
- Organise their teaching in ways that reduce the likelihood of
young people misbehaving.
- Respond effectively in those instances where difficult
behaviour does occur.
This 3 day course supports the development and extension of
these skills. The course is for secondary school classroom
teachers. It can be tailored to meet the needs of experienced
staff, who may train others, or staff who want to extend their
classroom practice expertise, for example new teachers.
View or download the leaflet 'Practical approaches to
behaviour management in the classroom' for more information on this
course.
