Well-qualified teachers who are enabled and empowered to create
innovative and exciting curricula are key to the successful
education and learning of young people.
We support teachers by providing them with continuing
professional development opportunities that give them the knowledge
and know-how to become the best teachers they can. We help them
fulfil their personal career aspirations and make a positive and
proactive contribution to the successful running of their school
and on the lives of young people they teach.
CfBT offers two routes to Qualified Teacher Status, through
school based initial teacher
training.
We offer a comprehensive continuing professional development
programme for teachers in Lincolnshire through the School
Improvement Service.
CfBT won the Ofsted award of Outstanding
Provider for our Graduate Training Programme in Lincolnshire which
achieved ten grade 1s and only one grade 2 in its
inspection.
Since November 2009 initial delivery of our
new Learning and Teaching Consultancy in England and Wales includes
the provision of leadership development, coaching skills training,
teaching and learning CPD and a new training course in consulting
skills. We are also seeking to develop further our applied
psychology products (selection and leadership development) for use
in both the public and private sectors.

Services
Internationally, the Learning and Teaching Consultancy is
undertaking coaching training, CPD and conference events in
Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, Qatar and South Africa. We also manage a
number of projects aimed at supporting teachers to raise standards
in Abu Dhabi, Brunei, Malaysia and India.
