Managing development and improvement to create a successful
school that provides equally for its learners and teachers is a
demanding task. CfBT recognises this and provides support for head
teachers to help them meet the demands and equip them with the
skills and tools to succeed.
Since November 2009 initial delivery of our new Learning and
Teaching Consultancy in England and Wales includes the provision of
leadership development, coaching skills training, teaching and
learning CPD and a new training course in consulting skills. We are
also seeking to develop further our applied psychology products
(selection and leadership development) for use in both the public
and private sectors.
We manage international projects designed to enable head
teachers achieve sustainable improvement within their
schools.
In Abu Dhabi CfBT is currently supporting the
management of 36 schools across the whole school age range. A
key part of the reform process is supporting each school Principal
and management team in looking at whole school policies,
procedures, school self evaluation and improvement planning.
Internationally, the Learning and Teaching Consultancy has
undertaken coaching training, CPD and conference events in Bahrain,
Dubai, Oman, Qatar and South Africa.
