Accelerated Leadership
Quality of leadership is the key factor that determines a
school’s success. Leaders with vision create working environments
where learning is placed at the heart of the school. We are working
with governments in the UK and internationally to support the
development of leadership capacity both within schools and within
the system.
From 2001 to 2009 we managed the world’s first programme of
accelerated leadership development – Fast
Track Teaching, which aimed to identify some of the most
talented serving teachers and the highest quality new graduates and
career changers then provided them with the support they need to
progress rapidly to become leaders in the profession both in the
classroom and in management positions.
Our team of experts also worked on the National Professional Qualification for Headship
(NPQH) updating the development stage study unit materials.
