Young, Gifted & Talented Programme
Information for Learners
Gifted and Talented learners can seek support and information
from their school. There is a Leading Teacher for G&T available
in maintained schools to assist them and to provide additional
support.
The Young, Gifted & Talented (YG&T) website is a prime resource
for learners and their school or college. It is a ‘one-stop-shop’
of services, information and opportunities for gifted and talented
learners. There is an interesting variety of online, face-to-face
and out-of-hours activities, from stand-alone resources which can
be used in the everyday classroom, to residential and
non-residential events. All activities are designed to take
learners out of their intellectual comfort zone, but not
necessarily out of their usual physical environment.
Learners can register on the website to become Associate Members
of the Learner Academy and gain access to a rich catalogue of
resources, activities and information.
