Admissions
CfBT Community Academies agree, through the Funding Agreement
with the DfES, to participate in the local Admissions Forum and are
guided by local admissions policy ensuring a fully comprehensive
intake, building on the profile of pupils of the Academy’s
traditional feeder schools and the Authority’s primary
schools.
The Academies operate an admissions policy that applies the same
criteria as the Local Authority in supporting, using the same
criteria in respect of pupils with Special Educational Needs,
pupils in the looked after system, proximity to the Academy and the
admission of siblings.
All learners are made welcome, regardless of their age, ability,
gender, ethnic origin, religion, personal circumstances or need.
Pupils, adults and other learners feel safe and secure within a
multi-faith and multi-cultural environment, supported by the
existence of coherent and positive discipline, behaviour policies
and procedures.
