Delivering excellence through teaching

Learners are at the heart of everything that we do and this is most obvious through the direct teaching we undertake in the UK and overseas in schools, nurseries, out-of-school projects for excluded young people and in prisons and young offenders’ institutions.

More than 13,000 teachers have worked for CfBT over the past 40 years including:

• In our own well-performing and successful schools and nurseries located throughout England and overseas;
• Through the highly successful Turnaround Project in Wales which provides education programmes specifically for excluded young people with substance misuse issues;
• As managers of schools for the Abu Dhabi Education Council in a major public-private partnership;
• As teachers of academic and vocational courses for excluded young people in prisons and youth offending institutions in southern England.
