Evaluating Teaching And Learning In The Foundation Stage
This module has been designed for leaders of the Foundation
Stage of learning only.
Its aims are to:
- support Foundation Stage leaders in school self evaluation,
including contributing to the school’s completion of Ofsted’s
school self-evaluation form (SEF);
- develop the skills of Foundation Stage leaders in gathering and
analysing information about children’s learning and achievements
through observations of lessons, including child-initiated
activities and those led by adults;
- develop course participants’ skills in evaluative writing.
