Evaluating Teaching And Learning
This module is suitable for headteachers and senior leaders who
are already undertaking observations of lessons as part of their
overall management and leadership of performance.
The session will focus on improving the existing skills of
headteachers and senior leaders. In particular, it will enable
members of the senior leadership team to:
- develop further their skills of evaluating the impact of
teaching on the outcomes for learners (including their personal and
social development);
- evaluate the extent to which teaching is meeting the needs of
all learners;
- develop efficient and effective methods of maintaining an
overview of teaching and learning throughout the school.
