Establishing An Effective System For Monitoring And
Evaluating
The Work Of The School
This module focuses on the development of a system for
monitoring and evaluating the work of the school and is suitable
for headteachers and senior leaders, especially those new to
headship or new to a school.
Participants will be taken through a management model that
enables them to have a clear understanding of how to design a
system from scratch or to review and amend their current system;
they will be guided through the key tasks and activities the school
needs to undertake to secure effective self-evaluation.
Participants will be given clear guidelines on how to develop
the system within their own schools and gain ownership of it
through the involvement of all staff, the school community
including pupils and the governing body.
