CfBT has designed a training programme to support and improve
school self-evaluation in primary, infant and junior
schools. The programme is intended to meet the needs of all
schools including those who have purchased the Stratis e-Suite
product.
The programme comprises ten discrete but interlinked modules
that cover the key strands related to school self-evaluation.
The intended audience for the programme is school leadership at
all levels.
The intended outcomes of the training modules are:
- to enable schools to develop an effective system for evaluating
their performance and provision;
- to develop the skills needed to secure successful school
self-evaluation;
- to enable those who will be contributing to school
self-evaluation to improve their skills in evaluative writing;
- to enable senior leaders to collate and analyse the information
generated from school self-evaluation and produce a good quality
school self-evaluation form (SEF);
- to make effective use of CfBT’s Stratis e-Suite product, a
means of recording the outcomes of school self-evaluation
electronically and using the information generated to support other
key functions such as school improvement planning.
