Singapore
CfBT has recently opened an EFL Tuition Centre in Singapore,
initially aimed at providing native-speaker English language
tuition to schoolchildren. Eventually, it is intended that, in
addition to language courses, a variety of management courses will
be offered.
Somalia
CfBT is working with DANIDA and UNICEF to improve the capacity
for delivery of education and to improve participation in education
at primary and secondary education levels.
Africa
CfBT launched a portfolio of school improvement services
initially targeting private schools. The World Bank’s International
Finance Corporation has recognised the importance of this
initiative and is supporting it by investing in workshops for 200
low and middle-income schools.
South Africa
We continue to develop our presence by embarking on a programme
to design and implement safe and caring child-friendly school
programmes and to assist the government with the provision of an
Investment Plan 2011-15.
India
CfBT assists the government in building the capacity of
educational institutions and improving the quality of education.
Underpinning our work is the Whole School Improvement Programme and
a suite of training packages for managers, teachers, students and
parents.
St Vincent and the Grenadines
CfBT advises the government on improving the infrastructure at
the Community College and on ICT integration in the school
curriculum.
