Kenya (1999-2008) Primary School Action for Better Health,
(PSABH) (DFID)
The aim of this long-term project is to bring about positive
behaviour changes in sexual relationships of Upper Primary pupils
in all primary schools in Kenya, such that the risk of HIV/AIDS
transmission will be reduced. CfBT aims to provide accurate
information on prevention, promote abstinence and delay the onset
of sexual activity and has been successful to date in making
progress.
Kenya (2005-2007) Secondary School Action for Better Health,
(SSABH) (USAID)
This project aims to bring about positive behaviour change to
reduce the risk of HIV/AIDS transmission in secondary level
students in 271 schools along the Busia – Mombasa highway.

Namibia (2005-2007) Long-Term Technical Assistance for Advisory
Support to HIV and AIDS Management Unit (HAMU) of the Education
Sector (EU)
The consultant's focus is the provision of technical and
managerial advice to develop and strengthen the institutional and
management capacity of the Ministry of Education's HIV and AIDS
Management Unit (HAMU) in order to enable it to fulfil its
objectives effectively and efficiently. The consultant is
developing and coordinating relevant policies and programmes;
ensuring that monitoring and evaluation systems are in place for
all HAMU activities and identifying capacity building needs.
