CfBT EDUCATION TRUST APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF HR
Liz Robinson has been appointed as the new Head of Human
Resources at leading education charity CfBT Education Trust. Liz,
who joins CfBT from Centrica where she had been Business Change
Manager for the last two years, will be tasked with developing
further the HR and Learning Strategy for the Reading-based
organisation which employs more than 2000 staff worldwide and is
ranked as one of the UK’s top 20 charities*.
An experienced HR professional, Liz’s career has encompassed
management development, consultancy and corporate change programmes
working for companies such as British Airways and Unigate
Dairies.
Liz’s move to CfBT marks her first professional appointment within
the not-for-profit sector. Her role will focus on developing CfBT’s
HR team to effectively support the organisation whose object is to
provide education for public benefit worldwide.
Liz said: “I am very pleased to be joining such a diverse
organisation as CfBT. The work that CfBT staff undertake is
incredibly wide-ranging, from delivering education in UK prisons to
providing services for educational reform in the middle east. I am
looking forward to playing my own part in supporting this work and
helping the organisation grow further.”
