OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO SECURE EARN AS YOU
LEARN APPRENTICESHIPS AND TRAINING
Young people at schools and colleges in Hammersmith and Fulham,
Hillingdon, Ealing and Richmond will get the chance to find out
about promising earn as you learn apprenticeships and
training at a unique local event next month.
Those leaving education this summer are invited to attend the
Apprentice Bank Fair on Friday 13 April 2007 between 2pm and 7pm at
the Civic Centre in Uxbridge where local employers and training
providers will be on hand to offer advice and information about
jobs and apprenticeships available in the local area.
Apprenticeships and training places not only provide young people
with the chance to pursue an exciting career, they can also offer
them a salary whilst they are completing their training.
Organised by the Connexions advice and guidance service and leading
education charity CfBT Education Trust, the Apprentice Bank Fair is
open to all school or college-leavers in the local area. To attend
they must first have registered with the Connexions service by
contacting their personal adviser in school or college or by
ringing their local Connexions Centre (details below).

The Apprentice Bank Fair will be taking place on
