Workforce Development Services

The key functions are

  • Empower the individual and schools to identify needs, effective means of delivery and evaluate their impact on practice;
  • Advise Children’s Service’s and contribute to the CYPP particularly on issues related to the school workforce;
  • Work with other providers to ensure a range of high-quality provision available to all members of the Children’s workforce acting as a provider where there are gaps;
  • Provide strategic direction and effective delivery through relevant plans;
  • Provide support to ensure the recruitment and retention of high-quality staff.
