It is recognised that some of the best developments begin within
schools and that good schools make effective use of their
'in-house' expertise. To complement this, the School
Improvement Service is able to provide a wide range of on-site
support to individuals, teams or whole school groups, which may be
tailored to fit your own requirements.
Key features of our consultancy service include:
flexibility for staff. Expert practitioners can work with
individual teachers, small groups, subject departments, supply
staff, management teams, governing bodies or even small numbers of
schools working in a partnership;
flexibility in terms of time to suit the needs of participants and
their schools;
flexibility in terms of methodology, eg. a training day,
planning, work moderation, a team working together to
develop a specific product or policy;
guaranteed quality consultants from the SIS or acknowledged experts
in schools.
These tailor-made approaches are available in many areas.
Key parts of the PDA will include the linked training and
consultancy with eSDP and MMMSR as well as some specific work
related to CPD Co-ordinators.
