Talent Recognition

We are aware of our own lack of emphasis on talent which also reflects the National picture so we aim to establish a talent development pyramid from universal to County excellence and beyond based on three areas of work: Music, PE/Sport and the Arts.  We will feature it in terms of enhancing enjoyment. 

We are also looking at ways of identifying and developing talent pathways within the vocational arena. A small group of Gifted and Talented Coordinators/Leading Teachers and/or Vocational Coordinators meet to look at how to redress this balance.  The group meets on a regular basis and anyone who wishes to contribute/take part in this working party should contact Sara Gregory on sgregory@cfbt.com.
