Welcome to the arts and study support page. From here
you can access the Artsduck website – the county’s innovative arts
education information service. Artsduck is recognised regionally
and nationally as a quality resource for schools and organisations
working within the arts. It enables schools to celebrate successes
and find helpful tips and information on how to run projects and
locate quality assured providers of arts opportunities.
Artsduk brings together both the arts and study support and the
team is made up of:
Jaci Gill – Senior School Improvement Consultant for Art and Study
Support
Katy Vine – Arts Co-ordinator
Robert Pitman – Study Support Co-ordinator
In addition to the website the team also produces a tri-annual
newsletter which brings news of events and opportunities into
schools. If you currently do not receive the newsletter and would
like to email us via the FEED the DUCK link below and we’ll get you
on the mailing list.
The study support team is in the process of rolling out the highly
successful Menu of Activities, accessible to schools right across
the county, which provides schools with opportunities to access a
range of arts activities for 21 weeks.
A main feature of the Arts and Study Support platform is the annual
Arts Celebration Event which takes place every July at the Lincoln
Castle any school wishing to perform, take part or help out at the
event should contact the team via the website.
In addition CfBT’s arts and study support team has recently taken
on the responsibility for the Creative Generation website,
dedicated to supporting teachers, parents and pupils fro Gifted and
Talented students in the arts. We would really like to hear you
feedback about the site so that we can develop and improve it to
meet the needs of the people that matter.
