GeogITs vere devised a few years ago and they're now used in
over 500 schools nationwide. A 'GeogIT' is a discrete 40 minute
interactive web based learning activity that makes up part of a
wider geographical enquiry. An example is attached.
On the 11th July we are running a Geography and IT course which
involves the study of GEOGITs. As a lead up to the 11th July
we have negotiated a discount of a third off the full price of
GEOGIT exercises. This means that the entire Key Stage 3 pack of 18
enquiries will cost you £300 (normal price £450). The Key Stage 4
pack of 26 enquiries costs £400 (normal price £600).
You do not have to attend the course to be able to access this deal
we have negotiated. If you are interested please contact
Hazel Chesworth (01522 552829 or email hchesworth@cfbt.com and you name
and school will be passed on to Paul Bryant who has developed this
package. Do you have e Learning Credits? - the resources have been
DfES approved and can be purchased using eLCs.
The GeogIT is currently getting a good review on Teacher's TV
and if you click here you'll get straight to it http://www.teachers.tv/video/4878
