Training Materials

For 2 PDA units schools will have access to all materials on this Materials and Resources Database which also includes governor resourses..  This is a closed part of the SIS website containing copies of course and conference materials, policies, reviews, updates and teaching and learning resources. Schools with a PDA and their governors will be provided with a user name and password.  These materials can be downloaded and used as appropriate eg. whole school trianing, staff or team meetings or for use in classroom teaching. Non-PDA can obtain a password for £750.

The resources will include:

• PowerPoint and other presentations;
• Handouts;
• Teaching and learning resources;
• Other resources produced by members of the service not related to specific courses such as guidance materials, draft policies, summaries of key documents, teaching and learning materials;
• Similar resources from partners with reciprocal arrangements including other LEAs, higher education. Updates on these partnership arrangements will be provided on the News/Update webpages.

Schools with a PDA are welcome to download these materials and use as appropriate, eg. whole school training, staff or team meetings or for use in classroom teaching.

This website is searchable to allow users to select easily the resources relevant to their needs and interests.
