Currently Senior School Improvement Adviser with CfBT - Lincolnshire School Improvement Service leading the southern team of advisers and lead officer for primary learning and teaching. Have considerable experience supporting and challenging schools causing concern and those in OFSTED categories. Leading training promoting Effective Learning, middle managers and developing excellence and enjoyment in the primary curriculum.
Previously involved in developing the national course with NCSL, “Sustaining Improvement in the Primary School”. Previous LEA experience as an advisory headteacher, link inspector and acting senior inspector. OFSTED team member and Performance Management Consultant. Teaching career spanned 19 years in both Leeds and Lincolnshire, becoming deputy head in primary schools followed by headship.
