Education Inspector with CfBT School Improvement Service in Lincolnshire and a qualified Ofsted inspector. Particular responsibilities within the Service include Newly Qualified Teachers, the Directory of Good and Successful Practice, teaching assistants and Primary special educational needs. Currently acting as a Critical Friend to a Networked Learning Community based in the Lincoln area. Worked in a number of schools across Lincolnshire for almost twenty-five years, including ten years of Headship. Lectured for educational bodies, worked on projects for Nelson Publishing, maintained close links with Teacher Training Agencies in various capacities and contributed extensively to HMI studies on financial management. Continued own professional development in diploma studies, maintained a particular interest in early years, represented county educational agencies and developed an extensive knowledge of education in Lincolnshire.
