School Improvement Officer (Secondary) with the CfBT School Improvement Service working in partnership with Lincolnshire LCC. Previously General Adviser in Kingston upon Hull, providing support and challenge for leadership and management to both primary and secondary link schools, with additional responsibility as Adviser for Science. Prior to LEA work he has had 20 years’ experience of teaching and management in comprehensive schools in Essex, Leeds and South Yorkshire. Currently working directly with schools in challenging circumstances and/or cause for concern. He has significant responsibilities within Excellence Clusters and with respect to MMSR, and is lead trainer on effective learning.
