What We Do
The Lincolnshire School Improvement Service provides a wide
range of services and products designed to support school
improvement across all phases. Under the 'Services Provided' we are
offer details of consultancy, courses and conferences from SIS and
partners searchable to allow particular interests to be easily
located. The full details of the Professional
Development Agreement (PDA) are also included. There are
separate pages for key initiatives such as the Graduate Teacher Programme (particularly the East
Lincolnshire DRB), Advanced
Skills Teachers (ASTs),
Fast Track and Support Staff
development (including the Higher Level Teaching Assistant
programme).
Also available in this section are details of the provision of
local partners involved in CPD, information about
Partner Advisers, Lincolnshire and regional networks and collaboratives and about professional recognition and
accreditation. The as well as the Freiston Centre for Environmental Education the
Boston United Study Support Centre website can also be accessed
from this section.
SIS is also developing a growing range of products. This section is
likely to grow but currently comprises the Moderated School Self
Review (MSSR), its middle management
equivalent (MMMSR), the revised electronic School
Single Planner (eSSP) and teaching and
learning resources and plans (LDP). The well-regarded resources
from the Drugs Education Programme are
also available here.Other resources will be added as they come on
stream.
Colleagues may wish also to access the phase and subject-specific
sections. A regularly updated primary
section includes developments affecting nursery, foundation and key
stage 1 and 2 information in mainstream and special schools. The
secondary equivalent focuses on key
stages 3 and 14-19 developments in mainstream and special schools.
Subject specific pages are also being developed.
