In September 2002 CfBT began managing the School Improvement Services in Lincolnshire and East Sussex.

Our relationship with both County Councils is one of a 'Strategic Partner', which provides a unique opportunity for CfBT to develop outstanding services for schools within those LEAs.

One of the first developments of the partnership was the launch of the Moderated School Self Review (MSSR) programme. This has been tailored to meet the individual needs of each authority.

CfBT are committed to developing a range of high quality professional development services for schools using new IT systems, aimed at reducing the workload in schools and producing a more efficient service.

Schools will be able to access information through the web-site, which will enable staff to share ideas on best practice, in addition to booking training and consultancy services on-line.

The School Improvement Service has had published a 'Strategy for School Improvement', a copy of which has been sent to every Headteacher within Lincolnshire.
