Over the past ten years CfBT has
commissioned, conducted and published a range of research,
reviewing, and in some cases recommending changes to local and
national education policy. At a local level, this has primarily
involved investigation of the integration of children’s services in
light of the Every Child Matters agenda. At a national level, CfBT
has produced a collection of research looking at the 14–19 reforms
and the plan to raise the participation age. Education funding is a
theme that cuts across local and national policy and CfBT has
invested significantly in researching the best methods to finance
education systems.
