Secondary Maths and Science HLTA
This is a relatively new development in the HLTA programme for
secondary teaching assistants (TAs) and technicians working in
maths or science departments. It is open to HLTAs who have
already achieved the HLTA status and now wish to develop their
subject knowledge.
This development seeks to support the role of HLTAs with
increased subject knowledge linked to pedagogy, thus developing
subject confidence and enabling HLTAs to be better able to support
personalised learning.
