On-Site / Cluster Services
The School Improvement Service (SIS) offers support and training
in ways that best suit individual school staff and governors. Our
advisers and consultants are highly experienced in their field and
provide high quality services.
- We are able to work with individual members of staff, small
groups, whole-school staff teams, subject teams and departments,
supply staff, senior and middle level leadership teams, teaching
assistants and support staff and governing bodies. In all cases,
the services are tailored to meet the needs of participants, in
consultation with the session leader.
- Such training, support and consultancy offer flexibility of
delivery and include: closure days; twilights; half days; whole
staff meetings; departmental/key stage meetings; work with
individual members of staff and in-class support or
observations.
- Most of our centrally delivered training courses can also be
presented in school, which represents a cost-effective way of
accessing the programme for all staff in individual or
groups/clusters of schools.
