Tracking Pupil Progress
A key element of MGP is that all of the pilot schools
establish or strengthen existing tracking systems and, more
importantly, improve the understanding of all teachers of
‘levelness’ and how to support pupils’ progression from one level
to the next.
In order to align internal and external assessment of pupils'
learning, pilot schools will be required , therefore, to submit
teacher assessment for all pupils in Key Stages 2 and 3 three times
a year, or once termly (or two-termly for East Sussex schools).
