Next Step
CfBT was selected by the Skills Funding Agency as the North East
Prime Contractor to deliver the face-to-face channel of the
"Integrated Adult Careers Service" - branded Next Step - from
August 2010.
The Next Step service consists of three integrated channels
(web, phone and face-to-face) operating under the same brand, name
and phone number: 0800 100 900.
Our advisers provide one-to-one and group-based Careers
Information, Advice and Guidance to adults aged 18 and over across
the whole of the North East region.
We are supported by an effective sub-contractor network, and
strong partnerships with many agencies. We help people make the
right choices about skills, careers and qualifications and to plan
their career development.
The mission for the service is: "To give everyone access to the
best information, advice and resources that help them make more
effective skills, careers, work and life choices".
