include Supporting young peple and families through education
> Quality, impact and what people say
A Parent’s view
“My child has improved a great deal at school and at home since
include came to help him. He had really bad behaviour and no social
skills and no confidence and was generally a very difficult child
to deal with. He has changed so much at home and at school and he
loves the Project Manager who has helped him all this time. We
really thank include a great deal for all their help with him.”
A head teacher’s view
“include is able to bring fresh innovative
approaches to supporting individual pupils. All pupils have gained
significantly from being part of the project. The links forged with
home and the opportunities for out of school activities to take
place have been major contributory factors to the project's
success. I have found them to be flexible, informative and a very
useful resource."
A Parent’s view
“I believe that without include's help my son
would not be developing into a person who was able to now enjoy his
education. I strongly believe that without include my son would
have had no school and he would not have been living at home."
What young people say:
“They help me a lot controlling my anger and they help me face
situations in different ways other than fighting. We always have
lots of fun working together. At the moment they are helping me
socialise with other people and it is a big help."
“include helps me do more in my work when I'm
struggling and they are helping me develop a positive attitude to
my life."
